Official Boardwalk Opening 2016
On July 23rd the McNaught Homestead Society hosted sponsors, donors and the public to the official opening of the boardwalk. There was a short opening ceremony with an introduction by Don Nelson and greetings from Ducks Unlimited, EnCana and the County of Grande Prairie (see photo).
The boardwalk is open to the public by foot access. It is about a 20 minute walk (1km) from the barn so follow the signs. During special events and the summer festival wagon rides will be provided.
